WOW! What a DCA 2006!

Stevie was Best of Breed

under Judge Ed Petit!

This culminates her 3 previous wins at DCA

2003- Best in Sweeps under Judge Elaine Gewirtz

2004- First Award of Merit under Judge Meg Hennessey

2005- Winner of the Top 20 Event

Judges Margie Doane, Edd Bivin, and Mike Stone

Stevie earned her 2nd National Specialty win in 2008 in Canada! Shewas WB/BOW/Best of Breed at the Dalmatian Club of Canada's National Specialty 6/28/08 under Judge Honey Glendinning. Stevie finished her Canadian Championship 9/11/09 at the Oakville and District Kennel Club show in Milton, Ontario, under Judge Geraldine Taylor.

Stevie is a sound, very typey bitch with a perfect topline, and lovely movement. Her claim to fame, however, is her incredible "Prom Queen" expression and attention in the ring and out.

She earned her Companion Dog obedience title in 3 consecutive days on 2/4/07, with scores of 195.5, 190, and 195.5 out of a possible 200. She is already certified with Therapy Dogs, Inc., and visits a local nursing home, rotating weeks with the other therapy dogs here.

Stevie retired from breed showing after winning the national specialty in 2006. However, she came out of retirement as a veteran for the first time at the Cumberland Valley Dalmatian Club, 9/25/09. It was great fun to show her at a specialty again and lo and behold, she took Best of Breed from the veteran class under Judge Marjorie Martorella.

Since then Stevie has earned 2 Select Bitch awards and a Best of Opposite Sex at 3 more specialties, at 8 years of age, from the veteran class. She competed at DCA 2011 in the veteran classes, won her class under Judge Frank Sabella, and went on to receive an Award of Merit under Judge Eva Berg. It was great fun to be back at DCA and in the ring!
